Hey there, Mr. Grumpy Shark. Turn that frown upside down!
Yesterday was incredibly sucky. Today isn’t like that, starting with an acceptance! “The Container of Sorrows” will run in the August issue of Pedestal Magazine, and I am really pleased. I had finished RunStarGirl and just hit a wall. Will I ever create anything again? Did I already do the best that I can do? Then one night I sat down and wrote “The Container of Sorrows”, and life was beautiful again.
So this counts toward the SFWA, but is it horror? I don’t know! But Matt should be scared anyway. Just sayin’.

A big congrats for that one indeed! It has the word “sorrows” in it–HWA will take it, I’m sure.
Even sharp-toothed sea creatures are happy for you!
Such a friendly looking shark.
Congrats on the acceptance.
Shark! Aaaaaaaah!
