  1. I will read it, for serious, good lady. Also, now I’ve come over to the dark side (i.e., genre fiction), I think I’ll have to send something to the slush pile for Shock Totem. Yes. 🙂

Congrats to you and all the editors for all your hard work!

  2. Hey Mercedes,

I’ve given you the “One Lovely Blog” award – I’m not sure how to post the award here but go to my site and grab the fantastic picture of roses in a teacup, post it somewhere prominant! And pay it forward.
Thanks for having a freakin’ sweet blog, always.

  3. Issue one is awesome!!! I can’t wait for Issue two!!

(Mercedes, I shared your story with some of the people at work and they LOVED it!! They rolled over in fits of laughter at the end! You’re a gem lady!)

  4. Sweet cover. And it looks like you’re in good company, as I see Cate Gardner and David Jack Bell at first glance in the ToC too. Very cool stuff. Congrats.

  5. The Dark Side welcomes you, Simon. Your tears smell sweet.

I’m glad you like it, Catie! Issue #2 has a fantastic cover, but I want to put Issue #1 on my wall forever and ever. It’s so awesome!

Thank you, littlegirl! That just rocks. 🙂

    Yay, Andrea! Thanks!

Make ’em read it, Ken. Use force if you have to.

Hinny, that’s the nicest thing that I’ve heard all day. THANK YOU!

    Very, very cool, Barry.

Gef, you’ll so dig Cate and Mr. Bell’s stories. They’re real treats.

Vincent, you may be looking forward to having it on your shelf, but it’s looking forward into crawling into your bed and inhaling your soul during the night. Keep an eye out.

  6. The Force?

By the way, I’ve been reading the proof these last two days, just doing some last minute checks for mistakes, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. It’s good to be able to read the stories for the stories finally. Haha.
