I have always wanted a motorcycle. I finally made a promise to myself that when I sold my first novel, I would reward myself with a bike. That novel was Nameless: The Darkness Comes.
Here she is. I think she’s beautiful.
She’s a 2008 Shadow Aero. 750 cc and gorgeous. She was meant to be mine. I fell in love with her the second I saw her!
But she doesn’t have a name. The frontrunner is Montessa, although I’m also considering Bryony. What are your suggestions? Something this wonderful deserves a killer name!
Anyway! My first bike! For selling my first novel! Yay. Yaaaaaaaay!
Also, if anybody has any tips and advice, I’d love to hear it. I learned to ride at the safety course, with a much smaller bike. I have a fantastic helmet that I always wear. The children are only on the bike when it’s turned off, just in case the picture worried you.Ā Let me have it, friends!

Just be aware that you have to watch out for cars. They won’t watch out for you. A motorcycle can hide in a car mirror’s “blind spot” very easily.

Fantastic! My wife and I started riding last year and it’s the best thing we’ve ever done… intentionally. So much fun and we’ve met so many cool people.
