Well, it’s something that no author ever wants to hear: my book is going out of print. Apex Book Company was gracious enough to pick up my collection (and debut book!) Beautiful Sorrows when Shock Totem Publishing shuttered. Apex did a stellar job, but they’re streamlining their catalogue and Beautiful Sorrows is one of the casualties. Jason wrote a blog post here explaining the situation. I’m grateful to Apex for the hard work they’ve put in, and also the friendly, gracious way they handled the separation. They gave me my rights back and I will work hard to republish Beautiful Sorrows, but I’m not quite sure when that will be.

This is a great time to stock up on Christmas and birthday gifts, or you could buy a ton and paper your room with them.
