A week of rejections, one after another. Most of the time it doesn’t really bother me, but sometimes they seem to weight a little heavier. Aw.
So! My best writing friend Dawn Allison won the Demonic Tome contest, and I’ll be featured in the same issue. We’re both pretty excited to be in the same magazine at the same time, which will most likely never happen again. That will be out in a few days. Today “Show Your Bones” went up in The Shine Journal. It was previously published in the print version of The Vestal Review, and was the first piece that I felt truly had any worth. It’s close to my heart.
