Which is what we busy mothers tend to do on Mother’s Day.  So I’m told.  But I scored breakfast and chocolates, so all is well in my world.

Yesterday I wrote a new piece, and submitted three.  I’m working on an essay, but it’s giving me quite a bit of trouble.  I’d like to have it finished by Tuesday so that my writers group can tear it apart….I mean, critique it.  I’m trying to convince them to meet me at the laser tag center, but we might end up somewhere thoughtful and quiet so that we can really discuss the nuances of the written word.

I’d be up for an arcade, too.
