This picture hangs in my living room. I love everything that Michael Parkes ever painted.
I pulled out an old piece tonight. Mmm, I recaptured the magic.

I want to say: no little gargoyle, don’t jump! But then I realize he’s made of stone so everything is okay.
Really? I think that he’ll realize he can fly.
Gorgeous!
Fantastic.
My lobe for you grows daily. Michael Parkes is BRILLIANT! And that is my favorite by him.
Jesus. Lobe. Haha!
Anyway, another favorite of mine is Paul Delaroche’s “La Jeune Martyre” (“The Young Martyr”). You ever see it? It’s brilliant.

Ha! I lobe you, too, Ken. 😛
I hadn’t seen La Jeune Martyre, but you should totally see what tomorrow’s picture is. It blew me away the first time that I saw it, and if this is any indication, you’ll like it as well.
I firs saw the Delaroche painting at the Louvre. I sat there transfixed for a long long time. It’s a powerful painting.
The almighty Shiney has it about his bed, apparently.
I HONESTLY CANT STOP LOOKN AT THIS PICTURE..ITS ALMOST LIKE I WANT TO CRY.BREATH TAKING.LUV IT
