I wrote an article about it up at the Shock Totem blog.
My take? Let’s just not suck, okay?
Discussion is definitely encouraged, but let’s keep it respectful, okay? Thank you!

Not loading. Hope you are okay.
Yes, you were sexually harassed. I don’t know that there is anyone to report this to as nudity is allowed on the internet but there is no excuse for this guy to subject you to his shortcomings.
I would just ignore the person in question and limit any interaction I have with him. That is not giving him a free pass at all. Perverts tend to hate being ignored. It is the best way to deal with them.
I don’t know why there are people who behave like this. I guess they have too much time on their hands. I am sorry that this happened to you.
Hugs,
Ardee-ann
You’ve really taken an uncommon approach to this topic. For instance, where you mention that harassment also occurs woman to woman and woman to man in one of your responses to a comment.
This is a tough situation. While everyone agrees grabbing a women’s ass out of the blue is wrong, most would agree sending an unsolicited picture of yourself naked is probably wrong, and many would wonder if sending an unsolicited erotica story is appropriate. There is no single standard that fits everyone. Do we start with the lowest common denominator and assume anything that could be offensive be avoided? That’s what I do, and it’s not easy. Just like your story about finding a place to have breakfast, it’s not a workable solution.
We need to learn about respect and talk about these issues, but unfortunately we usually only hear from the extreme sides. All men are pigs or this all PC run amok.
I’d like to hear more voices like yours in this debate, and while we’re at it lets stop debating and discuss it like you are.
This seems to be an issue across most groups that have “cons”. I’m reminded of Elevatorgate here. Sexual harassment just baffles me, really. For the life of me, I can’t fathom why someone would think it OK to put their hands on someone else in a sexual manner or even something that could be interpreted as sexual. You’re right to bring it up and have a discussion about it. Good post.
