Hi, friends. I miss this place. I miss writing, I miss updating, and more than anything else, I miss you. Why did I go radio silent? What happened? And am I back for good?

It’s a long story so I’ll try to keep it short. I was exceptionally ill. Like, I’m-not-sure-if-I’ll-live-or-die ill. I was 1) running around on a broken foot and 2) acquired necrotizing fasciitis (flesh eating bacteria that immediately ate away at the tendons and ligaments of that foot), 3) developed sepsis, and then finally 4) had the third toe and metatarsal bone amputated, which saved my life. I was in a wheelchair in order to stay off my foot for healing, and still use it now for trips to the store, etc because I have severe fatigue from Post-Sepsis Syndrome, and also because I reinjure my feet pretty much any time I walk. It’s been a bit up and down, but more than anything, I am so exceptionally grateful to be sticking around.

I have so much great news to share, (a launch party! A new contract signed!) but this is enough for today. I’ll announce the other stuff soon.
