One Comment on “Lit Reactor: Reading Outside Your Comfort Zone”
Reading the original Lit Reactor roundup years ago is what made me pick up a Carmen Maria Machado book for the first time, so this piece brought back good memories. Your choice to read outside your comfort zone (and what it cost you emotionally) is more honest than most ‘expand your reading’ essays. I’d be curious to hear what you’d recommend now that tastes have shifted again.
