Arterial Bloom Welcomes Todd Keisling!

If you’re not familiar with Todd Keisling, then just wait a year or two. He will absolutely be a household name. Todd is a talented, visceral writer who puts his dark, fantastic twist on everyday horrors. Depression becomes something much more in his Arterial Bloom story titled “Happy Pills.”

Marcus Taylor had a name for the nothingness inside. There were other words for it—melancholia, ennui, depression—but “Absence” described exactly what it was to him: a paradoxical emptiness embodying the essence of himself. A black hole tugging at every moment of his life, forcing his personality inside out. And after thirty-plus years of fighting against the pull of its gravity, Marcus was starting to lose his footing.  -Todd Keisling, “Happy Pills”

Todd also created our gorgeous Arterial Bloom book cover, and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Thank you, my friend!
